Identity Bus and the Future of Identity Architectures
Start: 03/10/2010 8:00 am

It's been almost two years since Stuart Kwan of Microsoft presented the Identity Bus as the "End-game for successful identity systems". Some time later, the Identity Bus is a reality, and the first open source implementation is out.

Enterprises are suffering from an exponential increase of demands in terms of interoperability, Internet-facing federation and the externalization of identity resources. Furthermore, in order for IT Directors to gain approval for projects during this economic downturn, they have to demonstrate an almost immediate return of investment.

The current approach to achieving this level of scalability is based on a "flip of the switch" style migration of legacy identity applications and underlying infrastructure to identity standards and compliant "off-the-shelf" products. Unfortunately this approach has proven to be a recipe for never-ending identity management projects full of frustration, budget over-runs and in the end, failure.

The good news is that the Identity Bus approach is here to help. It builds on the old wisdom of "think big -- start small -- grow big", to deliver a dollar value that is both concrete and practically immediate, in the form of significantly enhanced operational efficiency.

Atricore provides a 100% open source Identity Bus solution that will seamlessly enable this staged approach into your organization. You will maximize your current investment in identity, while paving the way for new capabilities to be brought on board.

In this free webinar we will cover:

* What is an Identity Bus?

* Why is an Identity Bus Important?

* Where should an Identity Bus be applied?

* When should an Identity Bus be applied?

* Applications for an Identity Bus

* Introduction of the Atricore Identity Bus

What recruitment consultants need to know!

Despite being basic, the principles are essential in ensuring integrity in delivery of service to the client of a recruitment consultant. This webinar aims to address some of these issues and will cover topics such as:

- What information do I need from my client?
- What questions should I be asking my client when I meet with them?
- How do I do a brief job analysis?
- What is a person specification? Why is it important?
- How do I produce a person specification if my client doesn't give me one?
- How do I choose which psychometric test(s) to use?
- Basic Behavioural Interviewing skills
- What other assessments could I use?
- Is there an easy way to collate all of my data on multiple candidates and rank order it for presentation to my client?

The webinar is aimed primarily at recruitment consultants, however the material covered will be useful and applicable to anybody involved in employee recruitment/selection.

There is a small US$10 fee for the webinar to be paid by credit card at paypal.com* and you will receive details after registration. All paid registrants will receive a one-week access to a recorded version of the webinar at our online learning center. This will help you recap information and will be useful if you are unexpectedly unable to attend the live session.

*Fee waived for PsyAsia clients who have made any purchase in the past 3 months.

10 Top Parenting Myths and Misconceptions

parental beliefs and values (the 90%) that could limit or reduce child behavior
improvement. Unless these beliefs and values are identified and addressed, very

discipline is responsible for behavior change,
  2. At
what age parents should begin disciplining their child,
